Have we really performed with Take That?! 😯 It’s pretty difficult to put into words exactly how I felt after the weekend. For the most part, I was pretty speechless and trust me, that doesn’t happen often!

When Dan presented us with this amazing opportunity, excitement built! I knew I wanted to be a part of it. Just 30 people would be able to fly the Love Soul flag, and there was a little audition process to take part in. Auditions sound scary, but this was anything but. Testament to the little Love Soul family I’ve come to love, the room was full of the most support. Dan and Katie were so smiley. Everyone was willing you to succeed and push to be your best. Nerves fell away and it was like performing to family. 

Finding out I was one of the lucky 30 felt amazing. Keeping it under wraps for so long was the challenge. I wanted to shout it from the rooftops. Instead, I settled for secret happy dances 😁 and channelled all of my excitement into rehearsals. 

Rehearsals were… sweaty. They were also a hive of energy and fun. 

Then came the big weekend. Walking out onto the stage for an on-stage run through, nervous energy built. What had I let myself in for?! But, heading out to that same stage each night those nerves melted away and I felt nothing but excitement. The smile on my face throughout was akin to that of the Cheshire Cat and I’m not sure I’ve ever felt euphoria like it. 

A big thank to Heidi who was our lovely onsite support throughout the weekend. She filled us with tea and sandwiches, but, most importantly she supported us, entertained us, and make sure we had the best time. 

The BIGGEST thank you really does have to go to our incredible Dan Cooper. Without him, this opportunity would never have presented itself. I feel so incredibly proud and humble to have been able to fly the Love Soul flag, and represent my best friends. 

Question is… when can I do it again?
