Performing with Love Soul Choir is always an amazing experience. We love providing our members with a variety of performance opportunities each year. And the joy of performance is that they are all truly unique! 🥰
We perform across the South Coast on theatre stages, in shopping centres, at country shows, at fundraising events and at marathons – the list goes on…
This summer we’ve performed in loads of amazing places and have loved sharing songs, new and old, with our audiences.
At the end of August, we were really excited to perform at Westquay Shopping Centre to support Southampton Pride. It was such an uplifting and inclusive event. We teamed up with Sing Now Choir for the day, which is always really great fun, and sang and huge variety of songs for the shoppers of Westquay. We even debuted one of our newest songs, ‘Don’t Go Yet’ originally by Camila Cabello. We love this song – it’s really summery and perfect for a celebration. The audience loved it too. 💃🏻
Over the August Bank Holiday weekend, we also sang for a charity event at Bournemouth Airport. At the Dorset Plane Pull, teams of 20 people try and pull a Boeing 737 a distance of 50 meters to raise money for charity. We were there to support the event and to provide some lunchtime entertainment. We had a really great day. Check out this photo of our members pretending to be planes! 👇
And the fun hasn’t stopped in September. Just last weekend, we had two performances in a row – one at the wedding of one of our lovely Bournemouth members, Dolly, and one at the New Forest Marathon. Dolly’s wedding was beautiful and we loved how many guests were on the dance floor during our performance.
We can’t wait for what’s to come in the final few months of 2023! 💜
