We love this time of year. The countdown to our yearly Winter Show is in full swing and we have a huge number of amazing performance opportunities lined up for our members. In the world of singing, Christmas is always a busy time and this year is no different. Between the start of November and the end of December, we will have performed 13 times at a variety of different events and functions. We wanted to spend this time sharing some of our upcoming performances with you and the reasons why we love them so much.

Christmas Light Switch On Events! 🎄

Last week, we performed at the Winchester Christmas Light Switch On event and Southampton Christmas Light Switch On event (organised by GO! Southampton) alongside Steve Power (previous Wave 105 radio host), Sydnie Christmas (BGT Winner) & Kev Orkian (comedian and panto star). You’ll also be able to catch us at the Wimborne Christmas Light Switch on event on 30th November. We love these types of events because they’re always so varied and it’s really fun being part of the switch on celebrations at each location. There’s always a big crowd as families really want to get in to that lovely festive feeling. As well as this, we get to work alongside some really awesome people including Tracey & David of Slick Events. They always make the whole experience a breeze.

Bournemouth Christmas Market 🦌

There’s nothing quite like Christmas than performing at a Christmas market. Once again, we’ll be heading to Bournemouth Square to sing at the Bournemouth Christmas Market to those who are in the area. There’s something really wonderful about wrapping up warm (when it’s cold outside) to put on an epic performance for those passing by. The event always draws a crowd and we’re hoping for much of the same this year.

The Ideal Home Show 🏡

We first performed at the Ideal Home Show at Olympia London a few years ago and had a blast. It’s just so good getting to spend the day in London at a massive event like this. We were invited back this year and of course we jumped at the chance. We’ll be performing on the bandstand and will be spreading the joy of music to those who are attending, or working, at the event. It’s a different opportunity for our members and a really fun day out. 

Moors Valley Country Park 🐿️

We’ve performed at Moors Valley Country Park a couple of times in the past and we’ve loved it each time. Last year (in 2023) felt magical. It was the perfect day. The sky was blue and despite the cold, the sun was shining. It just felt really special, relaxed and fun. We’re in talks with Moors Valley about arranging similar weather for this year. Be sure to cross your fingers for us!

Haskins Garden Centre (Ferndown) 🌺

We have a wonderful relationship with the team at Haskins in Ferndown and really enjoy our yearly performance at their restaurant. Haskins sell tickets for this event and all proceeds go to their charity of the year. This year, proceeds will be going to SPRING who support parents and relatives through baby loss – at any stage of pregnancy, at or just after birth – whatever the circumstances and however long ago. We feel that this is an incredibly important cause and are really grateful for the opportunity to raise funds and awareness for this. Haskins also provide the best cakes too. If you end up coming along, in our opinion, you won’t be disappointed with their incredible option of cake!

Winter Show ❄️

Ahhh – the Winter Show. Honestly, it’s such a highlight each and every year. We work hard for this event all year. It’s the chance for our members to perform 21 songs in a theatre to a sell out audience. We’re so proud of this show and the standard of the production and performance. We’re always inundated with positive comments about how slick the show is and this year is expected to be exactly the same. We last performed at the Regent in Christchurch in 2022 so are looking forward to getting back on that stage this year. We’re working with our awesome tech team once again and are so excited to share all the songs (and epic dance moves) we’ve been working on this year. 

Christmas Cheer 👏🏼

There is something incredibly moving and humbling about performing at Southampton General Hospital each year. Christmas can be really difficult for those who may be spending it in hospital and so we love to bring some music and joy to the hospital. Not only that, but we raise money and awareness for the Southampton Hospitals Charity too. The charity helps  to enhance the care and treatment of patients at University Hospital Southampton and works with supporters to raise money and provide financial support to areas of the hospital service that lie beyond the scope of NHS funding. It’s also a chance for our members to wear their favourite Christmas jumper!

Carnival Plc 🚢

We’re often booked to perform for corporate functions or events. This year, we have been booked to perform for Carnival Cruises at St. Mary’s Stadium for a private function. We can’t share much more on this but it’s an opportunity that we’re very much looking forward to.

Rhinefield House 🍷

There aren’t many venues as festive as Rhinefield House Hotel. We’re so lucky to have a really lovely relationship with this venue and once again, they are hosting a performance with us. It’s a relaxed way to come and watch us perform in the heart of the New Forest at a beautiful venue. We loved our event last year and are super excited for the same this year.

John Lewis, Southampton 🛍️

The team at John Lewis in Southampton always love having us perform and we have been invited to sing for their shoppers on 14th December. Our performance always draws a crowd and it’s great performing in such a busy store whilst people are doing their all important Christmas shopping. The following day (15th December), our friends at Sing Now Choir will be performing in store. We love sharing this weekend with Sing Now Choir.
