Auditions.
This word can inspire such fear in people. But when I think of this word in the context of Love Soul Choir, I feel such excitement.
When we have auditions at choir, for lead opportunities etc., there is such a buzz in the room and the support from everyone (whether they’re auditioning or not) is immense. I’m always so humbled by that level of support from everyone before, during and after the auditions.
Everyone handles auditions differently; some with steady composure, some turning nerves into adrenaline. But regardless of how people handle their nerves, everyone gives it their all and I’m always surprised by the varying talent we have in the choir.
I would always encourage people just to give it a go; what’s the worst that can happen? With a supportive group like this, although you’ll feel nervous you will also feel supported and loved!
