I’ve been a part of the Love Soul Choir family for just under a year now and it’s been absolutely fabulous! After an audition brimming with nerves I unbelievably made the cut and was welcomed warmly. At the first session you get the chance to sit, watch and listen to everyone in action, seeing the choir perform so joyfully was infectious and something I definitely wanted to be part of! At the time I was grieving and in a low place, Love Soul honestly helped reignite my spark. I look forward to Tuesday evenings every week and my work colleagues have told me they look forward to my Wednesday mornings (so I should thank Love Soul on behalf of them too – so cheeky)!! Singing aside, the friends I’ve made are awesome – there’s never enough time to catch up!

I’m extremely proud to be a member of Love Soul Choir. Dan’s vocal arrangements are first class and his ethos is admirable. Love Soul Choir have only just performed with Take That during their UK tour and three weeks prior were part of a sold out show at O2 Guildhall Southampton, which is phenomenal!

But, the event which I think back to fondly was performing at Southampton Hospital one Wednesday evening before Christmas. Several patients came down from their wards to hear us perform. To spread a little joy along with different fundraising events and give back is something I value highly and makes the choir special. So all I can say is joining Love Soul has been the most incredible experience and I look forward to singing and laughing for a long time to come!
