On Friday 25th November 2022, 20 Love Soul Choir members headed to London to perform at the Ideal Home Show which takes place at Olympia London. We performed twice over the course of the day, entertaining the many, many attendees.

Walking in to the venue, the strong smell of Christmas hit you and the festive atmosphere was literally all encompassing. It was a busy event with hundreds of stalls and thousands of guests. We performed at the Bandstand which was right in the middle of the venue where they had a full schedule of entertainment and it was great to be part of it.

The Ideal Home Show gave every Love Soul Choir singer a free additional ticket so that they could invite somebody to attend with them. It was lovely to see parents, partners or friends of our members in attendance too. We’re sure everybody had a really enjoyable day out.

It was also really fun to get to debut our brand new Christmas song for 2022; ‘I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday’ originally by Wizard. We also pulled ‘One More Sleep’, originally by Leona Lewis & ‘The Power of Love’ originally by Dalton Harris & James Arthur out of the bag too. The organisers said that we really pulled in a crowd – more of a crowd than they normally see at that stage and they really enjoyed having us perform.

A large range of different performance opportunities is what makes Love Soul Choir so special and we can wait to see what comes next.
