The spring and summer always bring lots of performance opportunities for Love Soul Choir and we wouldn’t have it any other way! Here’s a quick roundup of our performances over the last three weeks.
One Sound 💜🧡
You didn’t think we’d write this without mentioning One Sound, did you? A couple of weeks ago, our Choir Leader, Dan, and Sing Now Choir Leader, Jack White, hosted One Sound: Let’s Get Together at MAST Mayflower Studios.
One Sound is an epic choir collaboration show which happens every other year. Last year, the show took place at Mayflower Theatre in Southampton and was musicals themed – it was an incredible experience! The Let’s Get Together events take place in between the bigger shows as a way for members of the choirs involved to perform to one another.
One Sound: Let’s Get Together also provided the perfect opportunity for Dan and Jack to announce One Sound: 2025. We can’t wait to be back at Mayflower Theatre on Sunday 25th May 2025! 🎭
Other Performances 🤠
As for other performances, at the end of May, we were invited to sing at Solent University’s Film and Media Degree Show. Lots of our members headed to the university’s Spark Building to perform some of our songs for the degree show guests. We had a brilliant time.
And last week, some of our members headed to London for a performance. We’ll share more soon but we had a great time! 💯🏙️
What’s Coming Up?
The performances keep coming over the next few weeks. On Saturday 22nd June, we’ll be heading to Westquay Shopping Centre to raise money and awareness for their charity of the year and then the countdown to ‘In The Sun’, our outdoor summer performance, is on!!
