Sweet harmonies. Energetic dance concepts. Uplifting performances. These three things epitomise Love Soul Choir for me.

I have been a member for almost 5 years and remember my first session like it was yesterday. Being welcomed into a warm group of people with a collective love of music and singing, opened a new door for me. A door that gave me an escape from my busy working mum life. A door that gave me new friends. A door that gave me some ‘me time’ on what would once be a dreaded Monday.

I wish I could have bottled up the feeling I had at my first ever rehearsal where you are allowed to sit back and enjoy a set of songs performed by an incredible group of singers. ‘He Lives In You’ from The Lion King started and I was hooked. The harmonies. The power. The unity.  Still to this day, 5 years on, I get butterflies when I sing this song- the song that got me addicted to Love Soul Choir.
